10 Apportionment Votes for Division 19 – Let’s Make It Happen!

10/28/2019

Dear Division 19 Members,
On November 1, 2019 the voting for the Apportionment Ballot for all APA Members begins. This is conducted annually in order to determine the composition of the following years’ Council.

The Council of Representatives (CoR) is the legislative arm of the APA, possessing complete authority and influence over the affairs and finances of the Association.

Due to our members engagement and advocacy on critical issues, we have two-seats on the council – something that provides our issues a greater voice at the Association’s table. However, if we don’t continue to mobilize the vote, or if members choose not to apportion the majority (if not all) of their votes for Division 19, our representation could shift back to a single member on the CoR.

We want to continue having a strong voice on Council, influencing the important decisions that impact us now and into the future. We can only do this with your help. Division 19 EXCOM is, therefore, asking you to join others in Pledging 10 for 19: CAST ALL 10 VOTES FOR DIVISION 19.

Your vote counts! Please Pledge 10 Votes for DIV 19!

  1. Be on the lookout for your apportionment ballot email on November 1. Those without functioning email will receive a post card on November 1, 2019.
  2. Voting members can also access your ballot from your member profile page at my.apa.org.  The ballot link is titled, “2019 Apportionment and Bylaws Amendment Ballot Election” and will be located in the “Announcement” banner at the top of the page.
  3. If you have yet to receive your email ballot by November 1st, contact: Mr. Garnett Coad at@ gcoad@apa.org
  4. Cast your ballot for Division 19.

Make sure your ballot is returned to APA via mail by Dec 16, 2019.
