University of Southern California seeks a post-doctoral research fellow to join the USC Recon Marine study, taking place at USC and US Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA. The project is funded by Army Research Laboratories, and entails building psychophysiologically informed models of mental skills training and performance outcomes using archival and experimental data. USC hosts a multi-year project to study the population, and this project allow performance of experimental and archival research to improve how training is completed, and how mental constructs and stress appraisals affect physiology in rugged environments. Candidates must possess a PhD or equivalent, and preferred fields of experience include neuroscience, biological science, and psychology. More information is attached.
